Terms & Conditions - Urban Rocks

This web site is regularly updated with information including product description, prices and stone photographs which we photograph ourselves, to ensure accuracy. If you buy any product/s from us, based on wrong information, we will replace or refund the item, subject to it being undamaged. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that accurate pricing and descriptions are maintained, we reserve the right to decline orders if they are based on inaccurate information by either party. A transaction is only deemed complete when full payment is made and the goods have been received by the cardholder. Urban Rocks reserves the right to change these conditions at any-time and without prior notice.

 

Upon arrival of your Spirit Stone, kindly inspect it immediately, with the courier present, before you sign the Delivery Note. Should the item be damaged in any way, please contact us telephonically, immediately. Damaged items may be exchanged for an alternative item. Delivery costs for return of NON-damaged items are for the cost of the purchaser.

 

Vat of 15% is charged, and is included in the Selling Price.

 

All Prices are inclusive of transport within South Africa. Shipping charges for items sent outside of South Africa are by specific quote. Please contact  us if the item is to be delivered outside of South Africa.

Delivery will be by our designated courier company. The item will need to be signed for and will only be delivered Monday to Friday.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to provide accurate delivery address information.

 

Placing an order could not be easier. Select a Spirit Stone of your choosing, add it to the basket, proceed to checkout, agree to our terms and conditions, and then pay through our safe and secure payment provider; PayFast.

 

Each Spirit Stone has undertaken it’ s own journey to you and is therefore unique!

In the rare event of a listed product being unavailable due to an error in not removing a sold item from the catalogue we’ll advise you, cancel the purchase and send you a list of other similar products.

By using our site and ordering through this system you acknowledge that you fully understand these terms and conditions and accept them without reservation.

We endeavour to deliver your product(s) within the stated 5 to 7 working day period, however, this may not be the case and someone from our team will contact you, whatever the reason.

Web Site Usage

Urban Rocks cannot take responsibility for any damages, compensatory, indirect, consequential or direct, data loss, income, profit, property loss or damage and third party claims implied or otherwise when using this website.

Privacy Policy

To process your order and advise you of your order’s delivery status we require your name, email address and phone number. This information will be given to the courier company to expidite delivery of your Spirit Stone. Urban Rocks will not give your details to ANY other third party or organization!.

Payment Options

We charge you when the order is placed on the website. Alternatively contact us if you would prefer to make a direct bank transfer. This may apply particularly to items with a large price tag.

Vouchers

Urban Rocks may occasionally offer promotional discounts via a voucher. Please note that these will have specific expiry dates and appropriate usage restrictions

Product Price Errors

We do our best to ensure product prices on our web site are up to date and correct but errors occur occasionally. Please email us if you think there is a problem.

Product Prices

Urban Rocks includes VAT at the standard SA rate of 15% on all goods irrespective of whether they are shipped outside of South Africa. If you have purchased our products from outside of South Africa and wish to claim back that portion of the purchase from SARS, then please download form VAT65A from the SARS website. and follow the instructions contained therein.VAT65A from the SARS website. and follow the instructions contained therein.

Refunds

We only refund on goods deemed to be damaged upon unpacking by our delivery company or if we send out the wrong item. If you change your mind about a product after receiving it, we will be happy to exchange it but we don’t consider it fair play to be expected to pay the collection or re-delivery charges and hence this is the customer’s responsibility.

Product Sizes

Please take special note of the product weight and size you are ordering to ensure you have a suitable place for it when it is delivered. Please make sure this place is ready for when our delivery company arrives with your Spirit Stone.

Returning Goods

To return goods you MUST call a member of the customer service team on +27 81 270 9907 (Terry Ravenscroft – Owner) BEFORE our delivery company can load and return your purchased item. Returning a product to us implies that you have read the terms on this page and our Returns Policy below.

Returns – Basic Terms

Goods must be returned within 5 working days of receipt to receive a refund and/or process an exchange.  

We will refund your money as soon as we have verified that everything is in order. We are only able to refund by way of EFT. A representative of Urban Rocks will call you to get relevant banking details.

New regulations stipulate that in order to perform a refund for any Direct Deposit/EFT/Instant EFT purchases, we require one of the following from you:

  • Stamped bank confirmation letter on the bank’s letterhead
  • Client bank statement showing the client’s name and account details

Goods are to be in the original packaging including labelling – where possible.
Goods must be complete – even if broken.
Goods must be clean.
We advise all our customers to email us. or call our sales support team +27 81 270 9907 (Terry Ravenscroft – Owner) with any queries prior to purchase. Urban Rocks is not not a silent business and encourages consumer interaction.

Product Maintenance

Sometimes a customer will call after several months of receiving a product and tell us that a part of their product has a  fault and / or may have been damaged. Please contact us and we will advise you how to repair or maintain your Spirit Stones gloss.

Christmas Delivery

Please note: If your order is placed on or after the 1st of December, we cannot guarantee that it will reach you before Christmas.

Terms & Conditions

Urban Rocks  is an online ordering business company which means you’re safe if you shop with us. We operate a flexible returns policy and are happy to refund / exchange items damaged in transit, that are faulty or not what you ordered. Please check sizes and weight carefully when ordering. At Urban Rocks we strive to give excellent after sales service and customer care. Our terms do not affect your rights.
